The NFL is going to go to this new version of sudden death overtime for the playoffs which is not totally sudden death. Both teams are to get a chance with the football. We won't totally understand how it is going to work until we see it being used. I hope we are lucky enough to get an overtime game this weekend so we can "let the controversy begin".
In my opinion the overtime system used in college football is the way to go. Would you agree? What would you like to see if the NFL is looking to improve on the sudden death overtime we have all become accustom to?
I would agree with you mike..I like the college playoff system the best and I think the NFL will eventually realize thats the best system too
ReplyDeleteI never have liked the college system of overtime. I have seen games that are just ridiculous. If the NFL does it, they need to start on the 50 yard line at least, or farther back. Otherwise I hate seeing scores run up in the OT. I like the idea of each team getting a chance, though.
