PACKERS WIN 13TH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

We did it Packer fans, we really did it. Our Green Bay Packers just won the Superbowl without playing their best game. After the veterans Donald Driver and Charles Woodson went out in the second quarter this team did what they did all year and fought through it, fought through mistakes like all the dropped passes and some misfires by Aaron Rodgers. It was a 31-25 victory over the Steelers to win Superbowl XLV, that is all that really matters. Also Aaron Rodgers has now tied Brett Favre with ONE SUPERBOWL TITLE and just won SUPERBOWL MVP, something #4 never did. Aaron Rodgers is already the better quarterback in my book!

This is really just the beginning. This team is mostly young and will have many more opportunities in this decade to win championships. It is never easy to repeat but it looks like this team is still improving. They will continue to grow together and with the injured players back will have more great players on the roster than they can keep.

I think the 2011 Packers might just blow out a lot of teams when they learn how to stop making these mistakes. The first goal will be to win the NFC North division title that we failed to earn this year. Earn the home field throughout the playoffs and take an easier route to the next World Championship, this one in Indianapolis. I need to earn some money and go to Superbowl XLVI. I feel very confident that the Packers will be there and be a much better team than they are right now!

  1. Aaron Rodgers is great!!! The whole team worked to get this done-big plays by Jennings, Nelson, Rodgers, Bush, Matthews, Collins and many more!!
I think Rodgers is definitely out of the Favre shadow, but I am not going to downplay what Favre did in his career with the Packers. I loved his enthusiasm for the game-it is what made so many love him. I think it is easy to say that Rodgers is better because so many Packer fans are bitter toward Favre, but I still think that Favre has a legacy and Rodgers isn't quite on par with him. I hope he does rise and break records like Favre and lead the team to more Superbowls. He is a cool and reserved guy that has fought his whole life to be better!! Watching his interviews just increases my respect for him and his humble attitude-something you don't see in a lot of professional players!
Here's to many more Superbowls and a great XLV celebration!!!

  2. Are you sure, with 10 free agents, we can repeat?

  3. With the players coming back from IR, Jolly back from suspension, and just the depth they were able to put together last season, I don't think the free agents will be a huge deal. As long as the main players train well and avoid injuries, I think the offense will be a great force. With Grant and Starks, the Packers might actually have a running game to balance the passing game!

  4. The only free agent worth some concern is Cullen Jenkins. It is unlikely the Packers will fork out what he now deserves, but, just like every position, we got young talent coming up behind him. Mike Neal showed potential as a rookie last year, and can hopefully bounce back nicely.
